Pozidriv refers to the type of head on the screw. A ponzidriv or "ponzi" is a cross head screw (as shown in the image). Self-tapping screws are pointed screws that drill their own holes when they're screwed into wood. We recommend you to drill a pilot hole into the surface slightly smaller than the diameter of the screw. When you drill the screw into the small hole, the threaded sides will secure the screw by digging into the sides of the wood.

When purchasing screws for Neodymium countersunk magnets, we recommend the screw diameter is at least 2mm smaller than the countersunk hole. When screwing Neodymium magnets into surfaces, drill slowly and do not overtighten as the magnet can crack under excessive pressure.
